Terms of Services
Referral Program of Hostinger International is offering you the opportunity to refer friends and network via a referral program and earn up to 20% of each successful referee's first purchase. The referee will get up to 20% discount at the checkout! By participating in the Referral Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Services. All of Hostinger's decisions are final and binding.
Referral Program can not be combined with other Hostinger referral programs or incentives in respect of the same purchase. These Terms of Services outline the Referral Program that started in 2022. Any referrals made before 2022 will not be applied.
How to share or send an invitation:
- Sign in to your Hostinger account.
- Click ‘Refer and Earn’ button.
- Start referring: Share the referral link, send an email invitation, or share the exact plan.
Note: If you have no active referral within 6 months, your referral account will be canceled. You can easily rejoin our referral program anytime!
Warning: If you have violated ToS, your account will be disabled, and you will not have the access to the Refer and Earn section anymore.
Once you’ve sent the referral, the referred person will need to complete these steps before you receive the reward:
- Click the referral link.
- Purchase services eligible for Referral Program. The eligible services are any hosting or VPS plan of 12 or more months. Services related to domains and email are not eligible. Do not refund the payment and be an active user for at least 45 days (active user means that account is not deactivated).
Note: Referral Program is for referring new users. So the person that you are referring cannot have any previous accounts at Hostinger. If the purchase was made without the referral link, the commission will not be attributed.
To check the status of your referrals:
- Sign in to your Hostinger account.
- Click ‘Refer and Earn’.
- Click ‘My Referrals’.
- For any reward listed as Referral, you'll see the status of the referral under Status column:
- Pending: Your referral has been invited to use Hostinger but hasn't yet paid for a service.
- Qualified: Your referral has purchased a plan.
- Declined: Your referral purchased a plan and later refunded it. Your referral purchased not an eligible service for the commission (1 month plan, domain, email services). Your referral had an existing services/account and the client is not new to Hostinger.
- Approved: You have been credited reward for referral.
Exact reward amount depends on the order value, which will be bought by the user who used a referral link. To see earnings:
- Sign in to your Hostinger account.
- Click ‘Refer and Earn’.
- Click ‘My Referrals’.
- See Your rewards table.
Note: If the commissions are older than 2 years and have not been withdrawn – it will be removed from your referral account's balance.
Reward payout rules:
Earnings will be transferred via Paypal or Wire transfer depending on the payment method you have chosen on the referral dashboard
- Earnings will be issued after collecting 50 USD of earnings for PayPal
- Earnings will be issued after collecting 200 USD of earnings for Wire transfer
How to choose payment method:
- Sign in to your Hostinger account
- Click ‘Earn and Refer’
- Click ‘My Referrals’
- Select the preferred payment method – PayPal or Wire transfer. You will not be able to change your bank account details after choosing the wire transfer method.
Note: Rewards cannot be transferred to another Hosting account or any Hostinger balance. Rewards cannot be used to purchase, renew or upgrade any Hostinger services. They can only be redeemed using the added payment methods (PayPal or Wire transfer).
Note: Rewards for PayPal are being paid out daily with automation which starts from 09:00 UTC. While the automation is running, it triggers payment for all eligible rewards. If you become eligible for a reward after the automation is done running for that day, your reward will be processed and issued with the following day’s automation. So please allow for some delay due to such automation and the time that PayPal may take to process the transaction. Please note that your payment may be declined by PayPal for several reasons, including regulatory compliance issues, risk concerns, or because the recipient's email address in a specific country is unable to accept transactions. If you have not received an eligible commission, please contact PayPal support or update your payment details. Following these updates, the commission will be reissued automatically the next day.
Note: Rewards for Wire transfers are being paid out monthly on the last Friday of the month. If you become eligible for a reward after that day or technical issues prevent your payout from being sent on the scheduled date, your reward will be processed and issued next month. Please note that international wire transfer takes up to seven business days on average, depending on differences in time zones, foreign currencies, and banking systems. For certain countries (e.g., India, Pakistan), it can take even longer. To check if you received the payment, please contact your bank regarding payments from HOSTINGER INTERNATIONAL LTD. Please note that your payment may be disabled by the bank for various reasons. If you have not received an eligible commission, please update your payment details, and our team will reissue the commission the following month. Alternatively, you might want to consider using PayPal to receive your commission more quickly.
Warning: Depending on your bank’s policies, the wire transfer may charge extra fees and exchange rate differences. You may receive less reward amount because of this. To avoid these charges, consider using PayPal.
Warning: If you have any issues with the commission attribution or the referral payout, you shall send an email to referrals@hostinger.com.
Restrictions
Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. The Referral Program is meant only for referring people that are already in your network: your friends, family, colleagues, clients, and their networks. Therefore, referral links should not be published or distributed on commercial websites, any blogs or YouTube channels/videos, but only on your personal social media where your network can see the referral links. You are prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. This includes mass texting, emailing, or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems/bots through any channel to distribute, post, or otherwise share your referral link.
You are prohibited from using any type of Pay per Click or any other paid advertising methods (including bidding on keywords and phrases containing the "Hostinger" trademark, or variations or misspellings of the trademarked term on Pay per Click or Pay per Impression campaigns on the search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, Bing or others)).
You are also not allowed to use the Hostinger Website(s) as display URL in Paid media ads and to direct-link or redirect to the Hostinger Website(s).
Cancelation policy
Hostinger reserves the right to change, end, or pause, in whole or in part, any referral program, as well as any referrer/inviter's or referee/invitee's ability to participate in any referral program or receive rewards at any time for any reason, including suspected fraud (including by either the referrer and/or referee/invitee), abuse, or any violation of these Referral program Terms and Conditions.
Hostinger's sole discretion, it reserves the right to cancel rewards in the event of any of the following reasons:
- Hostinger is unable to collect funds from the referred customer.
- The order is fraudulent.
- The reward was earned improperly for any other reason.
Governing law
Any controversy, claim or dispute arising under this Referral Agreement will be resolved according to the jurisdiction and legislation where the Hostinger entity servicing your Referral account is located.
