Meet Kodee, your instant companion for building and managing your website

Securing and managing your online presence can be daunting, especially if you are a beginner. Don’t worry, that’s where Kodee steps in. It’s our AI assistant that provides instant support, answers, and guidance across our major products and platforms.

From picking a hosting plan to navigating hPanel, editing websites, and managing your virtual private server (VPS), Kodee is ready to help with a wide range of queries. The chat assistant has information specific to each of our products, tools, and client’s services, so it can provide precise, tailored guidance relevant to your site.

Kodee is inspired by the word ‘code’, which echoes our industry. The name Cody also means ‘helpful person’ in multiple languages. The logo combines coding symbols with a triangle shape to reference the guidance for our clients – Kodee is a helpful companion in their online endeavors.

Where Kodee works.

Here are all the places where you can find and use Kodee:

  • hPanel. Get help by clicking on the chat icon at the bottom right of the screen. When you start a chat, Kodee will try to provide answers and guidance. It can even perform some actions for you, such as fixing the domain name pointing issues. You can always reach out to our Customer Success expert if the situation is more complex or you need a live consultation – simply ask to talk to a live agent.
  • Hostinger Website Builder. When editing your website, look for Ask AI button at the bottom right of the screen. It can give advice on website development, optimization practices, setting up an eCommerce store, or help you find certain Builder features. For example, if you ask for an illustration, it will offer to generate one with the integrated AI Image Generator.
  • WordPress admin dashboard. Here, you can also find Kodee via the Ask AI button at the bottom right of the screen. It has context about your WordPress site, such as the site title and domain name, language, WordPress and PHP versions, as well as installed plugins and themes. Kodee can give you tips on how to manage and optimize your website, which plugins to install, and even how to configure them. Note that you need to install the Hostinger AI plugin for WordPress, available for free with our Business and higher-tier plans, to use this feature. 
  • VPS hosting. To make it easier for you to self-manage your VPS, we have created a separate chat assistant. It knows your VPS settings and can help you understand various system log entries, troubleshoot errors, and provide the exact command you need to execute inside your VPS to install the software. Find Kodee on the left menu of the hPanel’s VPS hosting dashboard.
  • Hostinger website. If you need help deciding which hosting plan will best suit your needs, or if you want to check the technical specifications of our plans, see the Ask AI button at the bottom right of the screen. 

How Kodee benefits you and boosts our work efficiency

Today, Kodee fully resolves around 5.5 thousand client inquiries via live chat support on a daily basis. Its average response time – the time it takes for the AI assistant to reply to a message – is 20 seconds. Moreover, it can talk in over 50 languages, so don’t worry if English isn’t your mother tongue..

What about the quality? Judge for yourself: in the first tests last year, around 20% of customers got the answers they needed and did not seek help elsewhere. With continuous training, this percentage has now more than doubled to 50%. In other words, Kodee fully solves every second inquiry in live chat support.

In the past year, the percentage of fully answered queries has increased the most in these topics:

  1. Domain transfer to Hostinger: From 40% to 69%.
  2. The website is not working: From 25% to 50%.
  3. SSL-related issues: From 45% to 62%.

We believe it will become a reality next year, if not this year.

It might sound like a fairy tale, but Kodee has a long backstory – about a year and a half long, to be precise; that’s how long it took us to build it into what it is today.
